Remember the whole “Mexican flag” at a protest nonsense a while back and how the administration’s media arm at FOX made such a big deal out of it until it came out that Bush himself had carried a Mexican flag in a rally; then the criticism stopped.

Now Bush has declared that the national anthem should be sung in English. But on page 142 of his book American Dynasty, Kevin Phillips notes that during Bush’s first presidential campaign, he would often sing the national anthem in Spanish at Hispanic festivals. Oops! How do you say “Flip Flop” in Spanish?
